ISHA YOGA CENTER COIMBATORE ADIYOGI
The Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India is a yoga and meditation center founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a spiritual teacher and founder of the Isha Foundation. The center is located on the foothills of Velliangiri Mountains and is known for its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. The center offers a wide range of yoga and meditation programs, including the Isha Yoga program, which is a comprehensive system of yoga that combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation.
The Adiyogi statue, also known as “The Face of Yoga” is one of the main attraction of the center, which is a 112-foot-tall statue of the Hindu deity Shiva, who is considered the first yogi or “Adiyogi” in Sanskrit. The statue is made of steel and is covered with a layer of gold. The statue is considered as the tallest bust statue in the world and is open for visitors all days from 6 AM to 8 PM.
The center also offers various programs for personal growth and inner transformation, such as Inner Engineering, which is a 7-day program that aims to help individuals to create a balance between their inner and outer worlds, and various other programs like “Yogasanas”, “Kriyas” and “Meditations” that provide deep insights into the nature of the self and the ultimate reality.
